​Join us for a mid-fall writing retreat that, like autumn itself, is all about letting go.

 

Letting our bodies fall toward winter, just like the plants and animals do. Letting go of what we have been carrying around all year—or maybe all our lives. Releasing tension through creative expression and deep rest. Finding joy as we sink down into mama earth.

 

Writing midwives Michelle Francois- Walsh and Joy Reichart, invite you to a nourishing, restorative, restful weekend in the beautiful San Damiano Retreat Center in Northern California overlooking majestic Mt. Diablo.

 

Joy will bring the "rest" and Michelle will pack the "easy." Surrounded by the Franciscan spirit, our weekend will include four sessions of writing, sharing, and other forms of creative expression inspired by what is around us and in us. The rest of the time is yours to enjoy the self-described “oasis of peace” that is San Damiano.
